and at first I was a little giggly like I’m sure a lot of DirkJake shippers were.

but I was thinking today that this sounded very familiar……

But really, oceans rising and cities falling - in that exact order - happened quite explicitly during [S] Jade: Enter!

(I think the movie reference was more an amazing, oblique Hope reference than an indicator of any specific smooching, but it’s still quite a valid and hilarious possibility.  We actually haven’t had any same-sex corpsesmooches, so far!  And more hilarious is that Dirk may do it without even having the resurrection intention.)

(Oh wait, I forgot Jake’s dreamself was dead.  Meaning that if there was a corpsesmooch, it’d be a hopeless, futile sort of thing.  Except for this little foreshadowing notice that Hope survives!)
